About Us

In Oklahoma County, 1 in 3 girls and 1 in 5 boys will be abused before their 18th birthday. Established in 1991, The CARE Center is Oklahoma County's only child advocacy center. We work to empower children to use their voice and be brave. Children visit The CARE Center after they have suffered the heartbreaking act of abuse. The services we provide include forensic interviews, family advocacy, trauma-focused counseling, and medical exams. We are also working to end child abuse in our community by educating children and adults about abuse, body safety, and how to properly report abuse.
